Lino stamp print on Somerset Velvet, 560mmx760mm

What’s that smell? examines the lifestyle of high-density apartment living. Someone is cooking a curry, someone has burnt the toast! The smells that waft through hallways, stairwells, fire escapes and windows, some bad but most are good. We might wonder who these people are, curious to take a peak into their lifestyles, we visualise their habits and social gatherings. With angles and patterns taken from fire escape structures and design, What’s that Smell? is a funny question we often ask ourselves.
