Fire Escape work in progress
Designing with Helena Garcia

2021 has been time to work at home. A lot of research, readings, designing, meditation, website, zoom, phone calls, video calls, sleepless nights, working on content, also studies about art, creativity, philosophy, anthropology, ethnography.

About how motivate yourself in the middle of a fucking global pandemic. About don’t give up your dreams.

The result is a new fresh better version of Escalera de Incendios, so WELCOME to FIRE ESCAPE.

Furthermore, I want to give a huge THANKS to all these people that always believe in Fire Escape/Escalera de Incendios, therefore in me.

Thanks for listening, thanks for participating, thanks for sharing, thanks for collaborating, thanks for the chats, thanks for the feedback, thanks for the motivation.

Fire Escape is getting fit for more art, hoping next year 2022 we can all back to enjoy art galleries, museums, festivals and activities. We can’t wait to get mixed with people again.

Moreover, Fire Escape keeps working with its resident artists launching new artworks. It is been always a pleasure to count with Natalia Carminati, Alejandra de la Torre, Alexander Grahovsky and the last to join the family Alice von Daguer.

Based in Melbourne is been very difficult to plan anything because of the strong restrictions but I believe that soon we will be able again to enjoy this awesome artistic and creative city that Melbourne is. Performing hard, so soon I will introduce the Fire Escape family in the Melbourne art scene.
